Joao A. Rodrigues, of Pawtucket, RI, just 42 years old, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He was born on March 25, 1979, in Brava Cape Verde and moved to Pawtucket in 1986 with his mother and father.
John worked at Coastal Collision, where he detailed cars for 9 years and built a foundation with the Coastal Collision family. He had a lot of pride for his work and would always ensure that his work was always pristine.
He was always surrounded by his family and truly loved from all that he touched by his infectious laughter and sense of humor. He was truly a peacemaker and always a sense of positivity.
He is survived by his mother Carlota Fernandes, his father Gaudencio Rodrigues, his six children Devlin Baptista, Deandre Baptista, Malik Rodrigues, Izaiah Rodrigues, Amarrah Joseph and Destiny Rodrigues as well as many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family.
His services will be held on Friday November 5th, 2021 at Keefe Funeral Home in Lincoln, RI from 4:00-7:00 PM. Church services will be held on Saturday November 6th, 2021 Directly at St. Mary’s church in Pawtucket, RI at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
